How we collect, use, store and share personal information.

Draft for review · 12 October 2026

The independent sourcing model is confirmed. Legal business identity, jurisdiction and project-specific terms need confirmation before publication or use in an agreement. This draft is not yet effective.

Our commitment

At ipackedit., we believe your information deserves the same care and attention as your packaging.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal information when you visit our website, submit a packaging enquiry or engage our sourcing services.

We are committed to handling your information responsibly, transparently and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

1. Who We Are

ipackedit. is an independent packaging sourcing service connecting businesses with manufacturers and production partners.

We help brands explore packaging options, source suitable manufacturers and coordinate agreed aspects of the sourcing process.

For the purposes of this policy, “ipackedit.”, “we”, “our” and “us” refer to the business operating the ipackedit. website and sourcing services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that is reasonably necessary to respond to enquiries, provide our services and operate our website.

Information you provide

When you contact us or request a packaging quotation, we may collect:

  • Your name and business name.
  • Your email address and other contact details you choose to provide.
  • Your delivery country or destination.
  • Packaging requirements, including product types, quantities, dimensions, materials and finishes.
  • Project timelines, budgets and customisation preferences.
  • Reference images, artwork, specifications or links you choose to share.
  • Messages and correspondence relating to your enquiry or project.

Please only provide personal information relevant to your enquiry and avoid submitting sensitive personal information, passwords, identity documents or payment card details.

Technical information

When you use our website, limited technical information, such as your IP address, may be processed to operate the website, prevent misuse and maintain security.

Our hosting providers may also process technical information as part of providing their services.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to packaging enquiries and requests for quotations.
  • Understand your packaging requirements and preferences.
  • Identify and assess potential manufacturing options.
  • Communicate about quotations, samples, specifications and project progress.
  • Coordinate sourcing services you have agreed to receive.
  • Maintain website security and address technical issues.
  • Meet applicable legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.

Submitting an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing communications.

We will not use your contact information for promotional emails without meeting applicable legal requirements.

4. Sharing Information With Manufacturers and Service Providers

As an independent packaging sourcing business, we may need to share relevant project information with third parties to provide our services.

These may include:

  • Packaging manufacturers and production partners.
  • Sampling and product development providers.
  • Logistics and shipping providers involved in an agreed project.
  • Website hosting, storage and technical service providers.
  • Professional advisers or authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required.

For example, we may share your packaging dimensions, materials, artwork and quantity requirements with a prospective manufacturer to obtain a quotation.

Where possible, we limit the information shared to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

5. International Information Sharing

ipackedit. works with an international manufacturing network, including manufacturers located in China.

To assist with packaging sourcing, relevant project information may be shared with manufacturers or production partners outside your country.

Depending on the project, this may include packaging specifications, artwork, business contact information and delivery requirements.

We take reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances to protect personal information shared internationally and comply with applicable privacy obligations.

International recipients may be subject to privacy laws and protections that differ from those in your country.

6. Confidentiality and Packaging Designs

We understand that packaging concepts, artwork and product specifications may be commercially sensitive.

We aim to handle these materials with appropriate care and share them only where reasonably necessary to assess or carry out your sourcing requirements.

Where a project requires additional confidentiality protections, such as a non-disclosure agreement, these should be agreed before confidential materials are exchanged.

Submitting an enquiry does not transfer ownership of your intellectual property to ipackedit.

7. How We Store and Protect Information

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against unauthorised access, misuse, loss and disclosure. Measures should be appropriate to the information and the systems used, including limiting access to people who need it for their work.

The hosted website records enquiries in a managed Cloudflare D1 database provided through Sites hosting. Enquiry records are not exposed through a public read endpoint. The form does not automatically transmit your enquiry to a manufacturer. Email notifications are not configured; enquiries are stored for review. Additional provider locations and service arrangements should be confirmed before this draft becomes effective.

No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please agree a suitable sharing method and any additional confidentiality protection with us before sending sensitive commercial materials.

8. How Long We Keep Information

We aim to keep personal information only while it is needed to respond to your enquiry, provide an agreed service, maintain appropriate business records, meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute. When it is no longer needed, it should be securely deleted or de-identified, subject to applicable law and necessary backup arrangements.

The hosted website does not have an automatic deletion schedule for enquiries. Enquiry, project, legal-record and backup retention periods and the deletion process must be adopted before public launch. This draft does not promise a fixed deletion date that has not been implemented.

9. Cookies and Website Technologies

The current application does not set cookies, use browser local storage, or load third-party analytics, advertising pixels or marketing scripts. Search and category filters are recorded in the page URL. Your browser may cache website files as part of ordinary browsing.

If hosting features, analytics or non-essential tracking are introduced, we will review the information collected, update this notice and provide any choices required by applicable law before activating them. Your browser settings can control cookies and cached data.

10. Access, Corrections and Other Requests

You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or a correction, or request deletion where applicable. Other rights may be available under the law that applies to your situation.

We may need to verify your identity in a proportionate way before releasing or changing information. Some information may need to be retained for an active project, legal obligation or dispute. If a request cannot be met, we should explain the reason and any available complaint options as required by applicable law.

For privacy requests, email hello@ipackedit.com.

11. Privacy Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your information, contact the privacy contact listed in section 1 with a description of the issue and your preferred response details. We will review the concern and respond in accordance with applicable obligations.

If the matter remains unresolved, you may have the right to contact a relevant privacy regulator. Where Australian privacy law applies, that may include the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. This draft does not assume that a particular law applies before the business structure and jurisdiction have been confirmed.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our services, information practices or applicable requirements change. The revised policy will show its last-updated date. Material changes will be communicated where required.

This version is a draft for review, dated 12 October 2026. It is not effective until the business operator, jurisdiction, privacy contact and actual operating arrangements have been completed and checked.
