Returns & Cancellations

Our sourcing service and your manufacturer order are separate.

Draft for review · 12 October 2026

The independent sourcing model is confirmed. Legal business identity, jurisdiction and project-specific terms need confirmation before publication or use in an agreement. This draft is not yet effective.

Rights that remain protected

Nothing in this policy removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where Australian Consumer Law applies, consumer guarantees may cover goods and services, including some business purchases. Custom manufacture does not itself remove rights about defective or misdescribed goods.

We do not apply a blanket “no refunds” rule. The relevant remedy depends on the problem, the responsible contracting party and applicable law.

Free enquiries

You may withdraw your free initial enquiry without a sourcing-service fee. Submitting an enquiry does not authorise paid work. Paid sourcing, sampling or other commitments require an agreed scope and price first.

Cancelling or changing a paid ipackedit service

Contact us promptly if you want to change or end a paid sourcing package. We will confirm work completed, commitments already authorised and what can be stopped. Changes to scope, fees or timing must be agreed in writing.

Any cancellation charge must be lawful, proportionate and consistent with terms disclosed before you accepted the service. We do not automatically treat every deposit as non-refundable. An agreed cancellation should state the work being charged for and any unused amount to be refunded, subject to your legal rights.

Problems with our sourcing service

If we have not delivered an agreed service, explain the issue and provide the relevant proposal or communications. We will assess it against the agreed scope and applicable law. A service remedy may include completing or correcting work, a price adjustment or a refund where appropriate or required.

A disclaimer about manufacturer outcomes does not excuse our own failure to perform agreed sourcing services with legally required care. Manufacturer production payments are made directly to the manufacturer and are not held or refunded by ipackedit.

Cancelling a manufacturer order

You contract directly with the manufacturer. Before paying, review its cancellation terms for samples, tooling and production. Custom-made packaging may not be resalable, and the manufacturer may have lawful, agreed charges for work already authorised.

Ask about a proposed cancellation before authorising further work. A change-of-mind policy is separate from rights about defective, incorrect or otherwise non-compliant goods. Supplier wording must not be assumed to override protections that apply by law.

Damaged, incorrect or defective packaging

Report the issue to your manufacturer with the order reference, affected quantity, description and useful photographs or measurements. Retain relevant samples and packaging where reasonably possible. Inspection or additional evidence may be needed, but reporting guidance should not be used to shorten statutory rights.

Your manufacturer agreement and applicable law determine responsibility for repair, rework, replacement, refunds and freight costs. ipackedit may help coordinate a claim if this support is included in your service. We cannot promise or make a manufacturer’s refund on its behalf.

Complaints and refunds

Questions about ipackedit fees or service performance should be raised with our business contact. Questions about manufacturer goods or production payments should be raised with the manufacturer, with coordination assistance where agreed. Contact us at hello@ipackedit.com.

Any refund owed by ipackedit must be communicated with its amount, payment method and timing. We do not substitute store credit for a monetary refund where the law requires a refund. You retain access to appropriate regulators and legal remedies.
