Website & Sourcing Terms

Using our website and working with ipackedit.

Draft for review · 12 October 2026

The independent sourcing model is confirmed. Legal business identity, jurisdiction and project-specific terms need confirmation before publication or use in an agreement. This draft is not yet effective.

Our role

ipackedit is an independent packaging sourcing service. We help brands identify manufacturers, explore customisation options, compare quotations and coordinate projects within an agreed service package. We do not own factories or manufacture packaging.

You choose, contract with and pay your selected manufacturer directly for production. ipackedit charges separately for its agreed sourcing and coordination services. We do not hold your production payments. The person or company legally operating ipackedit and its business contact must be identified before these draft terms take effect.

Free initial enquiries

Your initial packaging enquiry is free and carries no obligation to proceed. A quote request does not order packaging, authorise production, or approve a paid sourcing service. Any proposed service fee and scope will be disclosed before paid work begins.

Product information and images

Our catalogue includes AI-generated examples of packaging formats. Images are illustrative, not confirmed manufacturer stock, approved samples or guaranteed specifications. Available materials, finishes, closures, minimum quantities, prices and lead times must be confirmed with the manufacturer.

No certification, formula compatibility, food-contact suitability or environmental claim should be assumed from an image. Tell us about the intended use and any required standards when making your enquiry.

Quotes and separate agreements

A manufacturer quotation relates to its goods, sampling, tooling, production and any agreed freight. Our service proposal relates to ipackedit’s sourcing and coordination work. These are separate costs and agreements.

Before you accept paid work, our proposal must set out the service scope, deliverables, fees, currency, taxes, payment schedule, assumptions and any third-party costs. The Sourcing Service Agreement provides the proposed service terms. Manufacturer production and delivery terms must be agreed directly with that manufacturer.

We do not sign a manufacturer contract, commit production or incur costs on your behalf without specific written authority. Giving us a brief does not provide that authority.

Information and artwork you provide

Provide accurate information and make sure you are authorised to act for the brand named in your enquiry. You retain ownership of the artwork and brand assets you supply, subject to existing third-party rights. You must have permission to reproduce them.

By asking us to source your packaging, you permit relevant briefs and authorised artwork to be shared with suitable suppliers only as needed for your requested sourcing work. Confidential materials should be shared through a method agreed for the project. Permission to use your brand in marketing or a public portfolio must be obtained separately.

Any ownership and reuse arrangements for supplier tooling, printing plates or custom dielines must be recorded in your agreement with the manufacturer.

Supplier selection and coordination

We help you assess suitable options using the information available and the checks included in your service scope. You make the final supplier selection and decide whether to approve samples, artwork and production. We do not guarantee a manufacturer’s output, solvency or shipping performance.

That does not remove our responsibility to perform the sourcing services we agree to provide with the care required by applicable law. We must not describe checks as completed or certifications as verified without appropriate evidence.

Fair use and website content

Use the website lawfully. Do not submit harmful code, impersonate someone else, attempt to access private enquiry records, or interfere with the service. Website imagery and text may be viewed to evaluate packaging; do not misrepresent them as your own or infringe applicable intellectual property rights.

Third-party websites and manufacturer documents have their own terms. A reference or link is not a guarantee of their accuracy.

Privacy

Read our Privacy Policy for current information handling and the proposed sourcing arrangements. An enquiry is not consent to unrelated marketing, and these terms do not waive applicable privacy protections.

Problems and legal rights

The Production & Delivery guidance explains what to confirm with your manufacturer. The Returns & Cancellations Policy distinguishes our service from the manufacturer’s goods.

Nothing here removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including Australian Consumer Law protections where applicable. A business purchase is not automatically outside those protections. We do not impose mandatory arbitration or an arbitrary shortened legal claim period in this draft.

Concerns about our service should be sent to hello@ipackedit.com. This draft needs the operator’s legal identity and jurisdiction before it becomes effective. Changes to an accepted service agreement require agreement and must not retrospectively remove existing rights.
